A crew of Gram’s friends came over for a backyard Halloween get together a few weeks ago. We pulled all of this together really easily with a trip to Trader Joes for pumpkins and snacks, Nomad Donuts, some goodies from Seedling and other craft items lying around the house. It was the perfect way to get everyone in the Halloween spirit and to get even the smaller kiddos involved in some fun craft activities!
Since three out of the four kiddos are still under two, we got creative with how to craft their Halloween pumpkins by letting the little guys glue eyeballs on the pumpkins.
Lou, the oldest girl in the crew decked hers out with eyeballs, glitter and feathers!
Since the kids all love to color, we let everyone have a turn adding color and glitter to the butterfly wings that Lou will wear for her Halloween costume.
We decked out our vegan donuts with fake spiders, eyeballs & vampire teeth while the smaller kids snacked on donut holes, orange Suja juice… and maybe a couple handfuls of sand! ;) Mamas got festive with a little mid-day cocktail too.
A few weeks ago, we had some friends over for a little Halloween shin dig and since sometimes mamas need a little mid-day cocktail, we whipped up some fun & festive fall mules. You definitely need to try these!
